Global Mala events are held all over the world each year coinciding with the UN International Day of Peace and the Spring Equinox. The purpose of these events is to unite the global yoga community, on every continent, and of every yogic discipline to form a “mala around the earth” through varying practices (sun salutations, kirtan, mantra, seva) based on the sacred cycle of 108.

Donate a sari and support this wonderful cause! All the saris that are collected will be turned into evening couture outfits, beaded to enhance its value, remade into cushions, book covers, etc or resold back into other communities. 14 women from the Unit 2 community have been selected from the letters they have written to “Saris for Good Karma” to be taken through a program of upskilling in the areas of fashion designer, beading and business.
