All the saris that are collected will be turned into evening couture outfits, beaded to enhance its value, remade into cushions, book covers, etc or resold back into other communities. 14 women from the Unit 2 community have been selected from the letters they have written to “Saris for Good Karma” to be taken through a program of upskilling in the areas of fashion designer, beading and business.
