Peace – a meditation
Peace. It is a feeling that emerges in my mind and stills my heart. It is a serenity that grows within me until I am quiet and content. It is a harmony of thought and desire, of feeling and emotion that liberates me. In peace, I am free. I am given to positivity and love. My vision of life becomes clear and there is hope and beauty. A whole new energy fills me. And in such peace there is life; there is creativity and enthusiasm; there is the strength to give, to tolerate, to listen. And in peace we become one, because peace is the feeling of Truth. Sit quietly and reflect: How can I give peace to the world?
Peace – Affirmations
1. Today I shall experience peace through positivity. I shall see that which is good in others and not think about that which is negative or hurtful. That is, I will see others in the way I would like them to see me.
2. Today I shall speak with peace and share peace with all those around me. I shall speak slowly and quietly as much as possible.
3. Today I shall act in peace. I shall go quietly, and without hurry as much as possible.
4. Today I shall make the past belong to the past and look to the future with a new vision.
5. Today I will not react with anger. I shall endeavour to remain stable in peace and not sacrifice that to any person or situation. Nothing should be allowed to steal my peace.
