Peace

P E A C E
It is a feeling that emerges in my mind and stills my heart.
It is serenity that grows within me until I am quiet and content. It is harmony of thought and desire, of feelings and emotion that liberate me.In Peace, I am free.I am given to positively and love.My vision of life becomes clear and there is hope and beauty.A whole new energy fills me.In such Peace there is life, there is creativity and enthusiasm, there is strength to give, to tolerate, to listen. And in Peace we become ONE, because Peace is the feeling of Truth.
Sit quietly and reflect. How can I give Peace to the World?
Ponder on and Cultivate the Virtues of Peace:
- Contentment comes from having good thoughts. Respect of self and others
- Courage is the ability to face our fears
- Detachment enjoying necessary quietude without being separate
- Easiness is remaining light in nature, carefree and joyful
- Flexibility is not to be stubborn through attachment to my thoughts and ideas; to listen and accept others
- Gentleness To be sensitive yet not delicate
- Humility To go beyond the self and with discernment see virtue in others
- Mercy The ability to read between the lines and see behind the obvious; to empathise and sympathise
- Patience All sweet things come to those who wait
- Regard is the foundation of Love. Love and Peace cannot be separated. It is the ability to see beauty in everything despite conflict and turmoil
- Self control is essential to avoid the chaos of anger
- Simplicity How peaceless do I become chasing after all my desires? Desires are our bondage in a peaceless and hungry world. Be simple and free
- Stability is the strength and wisdom to remain above the fluctuations of the mind, like the huge rock that weathers the battering of the sea
- Tirelessness is my armour. The path of life could be smoother if I did not tire of climbing over the obstacles of life
- Tolerance Is it others I need to tolerate or my own negative reactions?
