Home of The Soul

In this body, in this Town of Spirit, within your heart lies a little house shaped like a lotus, and in that house is a little space. You should sense what is there; herein lies your karma. But what is there? And why is it so important? There is as much in that little space within your heart as there is in the whole world outside – heaven, earth, fire, wind, sun, moon, stars. Whatever is and whatever is not, is there. If everything is in your body, every being, every desire, every success, every failure, what remains when old age comes, when decay begins, when the body falls? What lies in that space does not decay when the body decays, nor does it fall when the body falls. That space is the home of your spirit, your soul. Every desire is there. Self is there beyond death and decay, sin and sorrow, hunger and thirst. The soul is nearer to you than all else and dearer than your children or parents, dearer than wealth, dearer than anything. It is called the Imperishable Love and Truth and it is the imprint of every moment of your life – love. You will always be as young as you are loved.
